Besides sunbathing and swimming in Lake Vättern you can also have a wonderful time by enjoying the beautiful view over Sweden’s second biggest lake. The water isn’t very deep at Domsand beach so this is an ideal place for your children to swim and to have themselves a great time. The campsite offers you to play volleyball, ping-pong or to make your very own magnificent campfire. On every field you will find a campfire place, just to make sure you will have a warm and cosy evening.
In the surrounding area there are a lot of great activities to do as a family or by yourself. At Hökensås natural reserve you can make long and short hikes through woods and lakes and there is also a lovely little waterfall near Brandstorp. There you can have a relaxing picnic while only hearing the sound of water, birds and wind going through the trees. But if you want to go to the city, Jönköping is only 15 kilometres away. Here you will find museums such as the Radiomuseum, Huskvarnamuseum or the Tändstickmuseum. And for shopping you can go to the city centre or the A6 shopping mall.
Because of our central location you can also make trips that are a little bit further away from our campsite. Were always there at the reception to give you advice to make sure that you have a nice day out in Sweden.
And after a day full of activities our Camping is a great place to return to. Next to the reception we have an outside area where you can relax or have something to eat. And if you still got some energy left, we organize Elksafaris on several occasions during the summer. More information about the safari you can also find on our website!
Seeing elks is something you have to experience when you’re in Sweden. Now this is your chance! On several occasions during the high season we organize an Elksafari. With a touring car we’ll leave the camping to drive to a farm on the north side of Habo. From there we will have a safari through the farmers land and woods. This is something you have to experience! Here you will find an impression of the safari!
